Job summary

Good Samaritan in Brainerd, MN seeks a Registered Nurse (PRN) to provide individualized nursing care using the full nursing process. You will assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate care, collaborating with residents, families and an inter-disciplinary team to meet each resident’s needs.

Travel to support multiple locations within 75 miles, minimum 30 hours per month, one weekend shift monthly. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and an active RN license in the state;

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Active RN license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Collaborate with residents, families and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care and delegate tasks as appropriate within scope of practice.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA)
