Job summary

Good Samaritan Albion is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time day shift (12 hours) to provide individualized nursing care in a Christian not-for-profit environment dedicated to seniors. You will collaborate with residents, families, and an interdisciplinary team to plan and evaluate care, while ensuring adherence to nursing standards and state regulations.

The role emphasizes care coordination, patient education, and support across preventive and treatment phases.

Qualifications

RN license active in state of practice.
Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred including CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA.
Multistate licensure if in an NLC state preferred.

Responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to residents.
Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to plan, implement and evaluate care.
Care for residents across preventive care, health maintenance, diagnosis and treatment.
Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments and education; perform nursing interventions as needed.
May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff with appropriate supervision.
Operate within the Nurse Practice Act and applicable state rules and ethics.
