Job summary

Citadel Healthcare in Sterling, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Second or Third Shift teams. The RN will be responsible for nursing assessments, care planning, implementation, and evaluation, with a focus on resident safety and well-being.

We offer a $3,000 sign-on bonus for full-time RNs. Responsibilities include monitoring residents, administering care per physician orders, and maintaining infection control standards while communicating with residents’ families and the care

Qualifications

• Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited college or university.
• Current license to practice as an RN in the state.
• 1 year of experience preferred; long-term care experience preferred.
• Excellent English communication; able to engage residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Provides licensed care to residents as ordered by physician and per standards.
• Maintains clean, sanitary nurse station and care areas.
• Monitors vital signs and administers IV therapy as licensed.
• Documents care and resident responses accurately.
• Adheres to infection control and HIPAA policies.
