Job summary

Southeast Behavioral Hospital is seeking a registered nurse to coordinate and evaluate patient care for psychiatric patients within a hospital setting. You will collaborate with health team members to ensure nursing standards are met and patient safety is prioritized.

Education: BSN preferred; Missouri licensure required. Minimum two years in psychiatric care; CPR and seclusion/restraint training within set timelines are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
• Currently licensed to practice by the Missouri State Board of Nursing.
• CPR certification and training in appropriate use of Seclusion and Restraint within 30 days of employment. Successful completion of Handle with Care training and Service Excellence Training within 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY: The RN is a registered professional nurse who coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Experience: A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.

Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Missouri State Board of Nursing.

Additional Requirements: CPR certification and training in appropriate use of Seclusion and Restraint within 30 days of employment. Successful completion of Handle with Care training and Service Excellence Training within 90 days of employment. Certifications may be obtained during new hire orientation.
