Job summary

Southeast Behavioral Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO is looking for a Registered Nurse to coordinate and evaluate patient care as part of a collaborative health team. The RN will follow established nursing processes and standards of care while ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes.

Graduate from an accredited nursing program; MO RN licensure required, CPR certification, and timely completion of seclusion/restraint training, Handle with Care, and Service Excellence; hospital experience

Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY:

The RN is a registered professional nurse who coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Experience: A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a psychiatric health‑care facility preferred.

Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Missouri State Board of Nursing.

Additional Requirements: CPR certification and training in appropriate use of Seclusion and Restraint within 30 days of employment. Successful completion of Handle with Care training and Service Excellence Training within 90 days of employment. Certifications may be obtained during new hire orientation.
