Join Baylor Scott and White Medical Center - McKinney as a Registered Nurse and be part of something better! This is a full-time seasonal position with a 13-week contract, working nights on a 3/12 hr. shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. No on-call duties, with every other weekend required.

Labor and Delivery

Our Labor and Delivery unit is a fast-paced environment with high acuity patients. We foster an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and building every team member. The patient population includes Level III Maternal and Neonatal care. The unit has 10 Labor and Delivery Suites, 4 obstetrical emergency beds, 2 operating rooms, 2 PACU beds, and 5 high-risk antepartum beds.

Department specifics include a strong team atmosphere, over 200+ deliveries per month, a Board-Certified OB Physician on-site 24/7, numerous labor support tools, and a focus on quality and process improvement, including active participation in the Texas AIM Plus initiative. We emphasize individual career growth, certification, and a culture of unity.

A Magnet Recognized Facility, the hospital has 191 beds, offering personalized care and advanced technology. It provides a broad spectrum of services including Level II trauma, emergency care, heart and vascular services, orthopedics, oncology, primary care, and Level III Maternal and Neonatal care. The hospital is expandable, with plans to increase beds to 400 as community needs grow.
