Job summary

PSI Solutions seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a School-Based Oversight Nurse at St. Peter of Lorain. The role supports clinic staff across schools, ensuring health services are delivered safely and in line with school health guidelines.

Schedule is 28 hours for the school year with PRN subbing, no nights, weekends, or holidays. The ideal candidate has an active Ohio RN license, knowledge of school health protocols and HIPAA/FERPA, strong leadership and communication skills, and

Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license and eligibility to practice.
• Knowledge of school health protocols and patient confidentiality standards (HIPAA/FERPA).
• Strong leadership and mentorship abilities.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Experience in pediatrics or school-based health settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support assigned clinic staff.
• Ensure staff perform duties safely and efficiently.
• Provide guidance on nursing procedures and clinic protocols.
• Assist with documentation standards and health-record management.

What We’re Looking For

• Active Ohio RN License (Required)
• Knowledge of school health protocols, communicable disease prevention, and medication administration
• Strong leadership and mentorship abilities
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Knowledge of HIPAA and student health confidentiality standards
• School-based or pediatric nursing experience preferred
