Job summary

PSI Solutions is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for school health PRN substitute float roles in Columbus, Ohio. You will provide substitute nursing coverage across K–12 school clinics and support students during the school day.

Ideal candidates hold an Active Ohio LPN license and are comfortable with HIPAA/FERPA guidelines, medication administration, and collaborating with school staff. This role offers flexible scheduling and meaningful work in a school health setting.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio LPN license required.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality standards.
• Pediatric or school health experience preferred but not required.
• Current or willingness to obtain BLS or CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide substitute nursing coverage for school clinics.
• Serve students in K–12 public, private, and charter schools.
• Follow district health protocols and procedures.
• Provide coverage for absences, vacancies, or increased clinic needs.
• PSI support available if clinical or workflow questions arise.
• Administer medications and monitor student health needs.
• Assess and respond to illness or injury.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and FERPA guidelines.
