Job summary

Methuen Public Schools seeks an experienced RN to support afterschool and community programs across schools in Methuen. You will oversee health issues, dispense medications, and maintain health records for students in the program.

You will collaborate with program managers and staff, travel between schools as needed, and provide health trainings and timely reporting to administrators. Weekend and extended hours may be required during certain programs.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with public school experience preferred.
• Experience with before/after school programs or similar OT initiatives is desirable.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills is required.
• Experience working with K-12 students, including those at risk, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee health issues and program health policies for the community programs.
• Dispense medications and maintain health records for participants.
• Communicate with schools, parents, and staff across sites as needed.
• Travel between schools to support program operations.
• Provide EpiPen training and health-related education as required.
