Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking an RN to provide specialized nursing care for students with medical needs in New Bern, North Carolina. The role includes managing devices and medications, documentation, and collaborating with school staff to ensure student safety and well-being.

The position requires an active RN license in the state, a current health certificate, and BLS certification, with a preference for at least one year of RN experience.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Health certificate required per facility RN contract or state regulation.
• PPD or Chest X-Ray required.
• Current BLS card required.
• One year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for students with medical needs (Trach, vent, G-tube feeding, seizure monitoring with rescue meds, personal care, diabetic care, etc.).
• May ride the bus to and from school with patient.
