The Paramount at Somers Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Danbury, CT is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist RN. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, compassion, and the ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include administering treatments, monitoring status, educating patients and families, and participating in rounds and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in respiratory care techniques and nursing procedures.
• Active RN license (state specified in posting).
• Experience in respiratory therapy, critical care or related areas.

Responsabilités

• Assess, plan and implement respiratory care plans for patients with acute or chronic conditions.
• Administer respiratory treatments including oxygen therapy, spirometry and nebulization.
• Monitor patient conditions, record vitals, and assess respiratory status.
• Educate patients and families on equipment, treatments and disease management.
• Collaborate with providers and other healthcare professionals to adjust care plans.
• Participate in rounds, care conferences and discharge planning.
