Job summary

Kettering Health is seeking a Registered Nurse Resource for Night shifts at KH Washington Township. You will deliver patient-centered nursing care, assess needs, plan care, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Minimum education is ADN or BSN with an Ohio RN license and BLS, with flexibility for night hours. Excellent documentation in EHR and strong teamwork are required to support diverse clinical settings.

Qualifications

• RN must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Current Ohio RN license and BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Experience with nursing assessments, planning, and documentation is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical, psychosocial, and educational needs.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and protocols.
• Document all aspects of patient care in the EHR accurately.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and other care team members to coordinate care.
• Maintain patient safety, confidentiality, and infection control standards.
• Respond to emergencies within scope of practice and training.
