Job summary

Freedom Village is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to serve as Resident Services Director, a high-visibility leadership role combining clinical expertise, resident advocacy, wellness programming, care coordination, and relationship building.

You will guide residents through healthcare decisions, promote successful aging, and work with families to enable independence and aging in place across the community.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Michigan.
• Three years of management experience in a senior living or healthcare organization preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines.
• Experience in senior living, home health, case management, care coordination, wellness coaching, geriatrics, assisted living, or skilled nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in developing objectives, standards of care, and policies affecting resident health and wellness.
• Oversees Wellness Nursing Department in Independent Living.
• Leads weekly multidisciplinary care meetings for optimal resident outcomes.
• Guides transition evaluations and aging-in-place discussions with residents and families.
• Ensures appropriate level of care and supportive services to meet resident goals.
• Develops a referral network of service providers.
• Leads new resident orientation and admissions assessments for independent living.
