Qualifications

• RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or an active multistate license (eNLC).
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Nursing.
• BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Aligns behaviors with OU Health values and maintains nursing professional practice standards.
• Assumes responsibility for an assigned patient or group of patients.
• Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed treatments, noting changes in orders.
• Assists physicians in examinations and minor diagnostic procedures.
• Monitors and administers medications and IV infusions including blood products.
• Delivers patient care safely and competently and addresses patient concerns.
• Communicates care plans to patients and families and coordinates referrals as needed.
