Job Overview:

The RWJBarnabas Health New Graduate RN Residency program is a one-year program designed to support new graduate RNs in developing clinical competency and transitioning from student to professional nurse. The program includes:

• Preceptor-guided transition and relationship building
• Continuing education and professional development
• Specialty-specific foundational courses
• Application of professional accountability and ethical practice
• Focus on patient safety, quality, and satisfaction
• Self-care to maintain safe and fulfilling nursing practice
• Mentorship support throughout the first year and beyond
• Hired into the specific area of specialty
• Variable Day or Night Shift

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program
• NJ RN licensure prior to hire
• Less than 6 months RN experience
• Commitment to orientation requirements
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• BSN degree
