Job summary

OU Health’s Edmond Med/Surg unit is seeking an RN Resident (Nights) to join a team delivering advanced patient care on the 3rd/4th floors. The role supports learning toward competent practice with strong tech and education resources in a non-on-call environment.

Requirements include an Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Nursing, RN license in Oklahoma, and BLS certification; 0–3 years clinical experience is acceptable. Full-time shifts are available with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Experience: 0–3 years in patient care as RN.
• License/Certification: Current RN license (OK) and BLS certified at hire.

Responsibilities

• Aligns behaviors with OU Health values and nursing professional standards.
• Manages assigned patient or group and documents responses to interventions.
• Assists physicians in examinations and minor procedures; monitors patients’ data.
• Administers medications and oversees IV infusions and blood products.
• Delivers safe, competent patient care and educates patients/families as needed.
