Job summary

VMP is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our skilled nursing facility in West Allis, WI. You will deliver resident-centered care, collaborate with physicians and families, and promote health and safety for residents in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin RN license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Skilled nursing, long-term care, or geriatrics experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor residents’ conditions and document changes accurately.
• Supervise and support CNAs and other nursing staff.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and the healthcare team.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.
• Respond to resident emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
• Every other weekend & holiday rotation is required.
