Job summary

Casper Mountain Rehab is seeking a passionate RN to lead and provide hands-on clinical care for residents. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, use clinical judgment, and support care plans that promote resident well-being.

You will be trusted to lead on the floor, mentor staff, and engage families while advocating for high-quality, compliant care and ongoing staff development.

Qualifications

• Wyoming RN license in good standing.
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• Strong leadership skills to supervise nursing staff.
• Excellent communication with residents and interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision‑making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care per care plans and orders.
• Assess resident conditions and initiate interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments within scope of practice.
• Coordinate with physicians and staff for continuity of care.
• Educate residents and families on plans and medications.
• Lead and supervise nursing assistants and ensure safe, effective care.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
• Support infection prevention and patient safety initiatives.
• Respond to acute changes with sound clinical judgment.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in alignment with individualized care plans, physician orders, and clinical best practices
• Perform ongoing assessments of resident conditions, identifying changes and initiating appropriate clinical interventions
• Safely prepare and administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic procedures within scope of practice
• Coordinate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and support staff to ensure continuity and quality of care
• Provide education and clinical guidance to residents and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and health management
• Lead, delegate, and oversee nursing assistants and support staff to ensure care is delivered effectively and safely
• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Participate in and support initiatives related to infection prevention, quality improvement, and patient safety
• Respond to acute changes in condition and emergency situations with sound clinical judgment and adherence to protocol
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, professional standards, and confidentiality expectations

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wyoming, in good standing
• Current CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across a range of clinical conditions and acuity levels
• Strong clinical assessment skills, critical thinking, and decision‑making abilities
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise, delegate, and support nursing staff
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast‑paced healthcare environment
• Commitment to excellence in care delivery, regulatory compliance, and positive resident outcomes
