Job summary

Fredericksburg Health and Rehab Center in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality resident care in accordance with laws, regulations and center standards. The RN reports to the Director of Nursing (DON) and coordinates with the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include supervising LPNs and CNAs, assessing residents, updating care plans, documenting accurately, and preparing residents for examinations.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required.
• Six months to one year related experience.
• Must have a valid RN license for the location.
• CPR certification on hire or during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care following laws, regulations and facility standards.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs in daily resident care.
• Assess residents and revise care plans as condition changes.
• Chart accurately and timely in resident records.
• Coordinate with health care team for plan of care.
• Prepare residents for examinations and treatments.
