Job summary

The Northeast Georgia Health System RN Residency Program offers a structured 12-month transition for licensed RNs with less than one year of experience. Residents receive orientation with a dedicated preceptor, mentorship, and access to state-of-the-art Simulation Labs.

Participants rotate through departments such as Medical, Surgical, Emergency, Critical Care, and Peri-op while benefiting from didactic learning, quarterly seminars, and Day one health benefits plus tuition reimbursement.

About The Role

The Northeast Georgia Health System RN Residency Program is a structured & comprehensive 12-month Program for licensed Registered Nurses with less than one year of experience as an RN. We are proud to be one of only four ANCC accredited Practice Transition Programs in the state of Georgia!

The Program supports your transition into professional Nursing Practice through:

• 14-24 weeks of orientation with a dedicated Preceptor
• Dedicated Mentors, Nurse Manager & Nurse Coordinators
• Use of our state-of-the-art Simulation Labs
• Quarterly Seminars
• Didactic Learning
