Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing services focusing on quality patient care in accordance with Franciscan Health System (FHS) standards, regulatory requirements, and nursing scope of practice.
• Develop, implement, and assess patient care plans in collaboration with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and patients/families.
• Engage in direct patient care activities including assessment, planning, coordination, evaluation, and delegation.
• Provide education and consultation to patients, families, physicians, and staff for optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Training

• Meet program requirements including preparation work and class attendance.
• Maintain full-time employment throughout the program year.
• Work and train on day or night shifts, including holidays.
• Agree to program terms and conditions.
