Job Description

This job acts as a leader in the provision of patient care using the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. It involves effectively delegating, directing, and assisting licensed and ancillary team members; assuming accountability for quality patient outcomes; exhibiting sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity; maintaining involvement in activities aligned with unit and departmental goals; demonstrating professional responsibility and accountability; and supporting the company's nursing philosophy.

Minimum Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Work Experience: None required.
  • Certifications: Valid RN license in the practice state; BLS certification from the American Heart Association; specialty certifications preferred.

  • Proficiency with computers and web-based applications.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Good organizational and time management skills; self-directed.
