Job summary

Prisma Health's Nurse Residency Program in the Medical Telemetry unit at Greer Memorial Hospital is designed to develop new graduates through structured clinical learning and supervised practice. Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend quality and core curriculum classes and complete clinical competencies.
• Participate in professional development workshops and peer support groups.
• Work under supervision of an RN to manage clinical situations and document care.
• Adhere to licensure renewal, training, health screenings and hospital policies.
• Record patient data, assist with plan of care, and communicate with the care team.
• Demonstrate patient advocacy and participate in QI processes under supervision.
