Job summary

Prisma Health’s Nurse Residency Program welcomes new graduate nurses to build a strong foundation in acute care. The program blends core clinical training with specialty education, including quality and safety classes, simulation labs, and hands-on learning with clinical mentors. Cohort start date is December 7th; must graduate before October 15, 2026.

Qualifications

• Education: ADN or BSN from an accredited program.
• Experience: No prior nursing experience required.
• RN license: Holds a current RN license (compact/multistate) recognized in the state.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing assessments under the direct supervision of an RN.
• Implements a plan of care developed with the patient and family.
• Documents care provided and any changes with rationale.
• Delegates tasks to team members under supervision of an RN.
• Participates in QA processes and adheres to hospital policies.
• Completes clinical skills under supervision and performs duties as assigned.
