Job summary

Wellstar Health System in the West Georgia LaGrange area is seeking a Nurse Resident to participate in a 12-month residency program designed to support new graduates transitioning to professional practice.

The RN Resident will work under the supervision of unit leaders and educators, completing required onboarding, specialty sessions, and monthly NRPs to strengthen nursing practice, critical thinking, and patient care delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
• Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• All certifications are required upon hire: BLS and RN licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to assigned patients.
• Coordinate care with interprofessional team and document care.
• Engage in evidence-based practice and quality initiatives.
