Piedmont Healthcare invites applications for its 12-month Nurse Residency program designed to transition new graduates from student to professional nurse through education, mentorship, and peer support. The program blends precepted orientation with blended learning experiences and spans Acute Care, Critical Care, Emergency Dept., Women’s Services, and more.

Residents gain clinical judgment, communication skills, and cohort experiences to strengthen professional commitment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New Graduates eligible.
• Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle following nursing processes.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to ensure quality care.
• Demonstrate leadership and accountability in clinical practice.
