Overview

Our 12‑month Nurse Residency program is a transition‑to‑practice program that educates, mentors, and supports new graduate nurses as they move from student to professional nurse. The program will begin October 2026.

Resident Responsibilities

• Develop clinical judgment to quickly recognize changes in patient condition and the urgency of a clinical situation.
• Cultivate excellent communication skills to engage with colleagues and support patients.
• Participate in cohort experiences that promote peer and professional socialization and strengthen professional commitment.
• Learn didactic content tailored to new graduates from professional nursing organizations.
