Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a registered nurse for the Rehabilitation Unit in Chicago, IL. This full-time (32 hours/week) position requires day shifts (7a-3:30p) with every other weekend and rotating holidays.

You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while mentoring peers and maintaining.current licensure. We value evidence-based practice, safety, and professional growth in a Magnet-designated network.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Illinois Nursing licensure.
• American Heart Association CPR Certification.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP may be required within six months depending on the unit requirements.
• At least one year of experience as a staff nurse preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Maintains competency to current standards of practice.
• Guides and supervises staff in patient care.
• Promotes safety to prevent injuries.
• Documents thoroughly and timely.
