Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an RN for the 4E General Medical Unit in Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time role covers 7:00pm–7:30am with every-other-weekend shifts, 36 hours per week, and a starting hourly range that reflects experience. Travel is not required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or BSN required to practice nursing in Illinois.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to ensure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly with patients and colleagues in person, by phone and in writing.
• Educates patients and families based on assessment to meet learning needs.
• Participates in evaluating nursing practice quality and effectiveness through quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

What you will do:

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are consistent, safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with all customers, in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on a thorough assessment to meet their specific learning needs.
• Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice by participating in quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.

What you will need:

• Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing
• Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association
