Job summary
Corpus Christi Medical Center is looking for a Manager of the Rehab Unit to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and oversee daily operations. The Manager will monitor nursing care and facilitate interdisciplinary coordination while ensuring compliance with established standards.
Qualified candidates should be licensed registered nurses with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and 3 years of management experience in an acute care rehab setting. BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
Qualifications
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in Texas or has an active compact license.
- 3 years of experience in a management or leadership role in an acute care inpatient rehab setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the overall daily function and staffing of the unit.
- Monitor and evaluate provision of nursing care per established policies.
- Manage admissions and discharge processes for efficient patient care.
- Facilitate effective interdisciplinary care coordination.
