Job summary

Vibra Travels seeks an experienced registered nurse for its inpatient rehabilitation travel program in Phoenix, AZ. You will work with one recruiter from start to finish, and you can accept local or non-local assignments with a competitive hourly rate plus a tax-free stipend where applicable.

There is no mid-contract pay cut, and you can earn a referral bonus for successful referrals. License reimbursement is provided for travels to new states, and you pick assignments across partner facilities

Qualifications

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
• Current BLS certification from Vibra Travels-approved vendor required.
• Current, valid, and active driver’s license.
• Additional certifications may be required by Vibra Travels (ACLS, PALS, NRP).

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, evaluates and revises a plan of care for assigned patients and families in line with Vibra Travels' mission and Nurse Practice Act.
• Supervises Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Nursing Aides and Techs.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Develops, implements, evaluates and revises a plan of care of assigned patients and families while promoting the mission and values of Vibra Travels. The provision of care includes direct care along with the delegation and supervision of all nursing care in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act.Specific components of the Registered Nurse role include demonstrating clinical competence; managing patient care; improving quality of care; establishing professional relationships and utilizing professional skills; fulfilling responsibilities of the role of the hospital; and developing clinical expertise per specialty.

Position Supervisory Responsibilties:

Supervises the following positions: Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Nursing Aides and Techs.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required
• Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.

AdditionalQualifications/Skills:

• 1 year acute care experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace

Certificates, Licensures, Registrations
