Job summary

Vibra Travels seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for inpatient rehabilitation assignments. You will provide direct nursing care, develop and revise care plans, and supervise LPNs, CNAs, and aides in line with the Nurse Practice Act.

Travel and geographic flexibility are required, with nationwide assignments. You will work with a single recruiter from start to finish, enjoy competitive hourly pay plus a tax-free stipend where applicable, and access licensing reimbursement for new state

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in the state of employment.
• BLS certification from Vibra Travels-approved vendor.
• Driver’s license and ability to travel by air/ground.
• 1 year acute care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions.
• Proficient with computer and standard software.

Responsibilities

Position Summary: Develops, implements, evaluates and revises a plan of care of assigned patients and families while promoting the mission and values of Vibra Travels. The provision of care includes direct care along with the delegation and supervision of all nursing care in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act. Specific components of the Registered Nurse role include demonstrating clinical competence; managing patient care; improving quality of care; establishing professional relationships and utilizing professional skills; fulfilling responsibilities of the role of the hospital; and developing clinical expertise per specialty.

Position Supervisory Responsibilties: Supervises the following positions: Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Nursing Aides and Techs.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required
• Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.

• Additional certifications may be required by Vibra Travels (ex ACLS, PALS, NRP)
