Description:The RN will provide comprehensive care to patients in a rehabilitation setting.The average daily census will be 10 patients with a nursing ratio of 1:6 on all shifts.The unit consists of 12 beds/rooms catering to adults and geriatrics.Essential duties include managing pulmonary and cardiac conditions.The RN must be able to perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and respiratory treatments as ordered.The role will involve managing BiPAP/CPAP devices with preprogrammed settings for chronic conditions.The RN will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and social services.This position requires weekend commitment throughout the scheduled period.Regular floating may be required to meet the facility's greatest needs.The RN will focus on patient assessments, care management, and education.The RN will implement fall risk prevention and infection control measures.Adherence to safety protocols and national patient safety goals is essential.Continuous learning and compliance with training requirements are expected throughout employment.
