Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an RN specializing in Rehabilitation for a 16-week, day-shift assignment in Portland, OR. The role involves caring for patients requiring rehabilitation services with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio and unit-to-unit float as needed.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of nursing experience, a valid compact license, and preferably BLS. You will work with interdisciplinary teams to support recovery from strokes and other injuries, with weekend and major holiday coverage

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Description:This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Rehabilitation.The staff will be responsible for providing care to patients requiring rehabilitation services.The expected patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4.The nurse will perform assessments and monitor patient progress.Assistance with assistive devices and patient education will be provided.The role involves managing complex care for patients recovering from strokes, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and other conditions.Care will include feeding tube management and insulin protocols.Support from interdisciplinary teams such as physical therapy and respiratory services will be available.A vehicle is required for this assignment.Candidates may be required to float to other units based on skill sets and unit needs.Refusal to float may lead to termination of the assignment.References covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years are required.
