Fairview Health Services in Woodbury, MN is seeking a driven Registered Nurse to join the Primary Care team at our Tamarack clinic. This full-time, 1.0 FTE position offers an 8-hour day schedule, Monday through Thursday with Fridays 7:00 a.m.

to 5:00 p.m., and occasional travel to Stillwater and River Falls clinics. The RN will plan, organize, coordinate and provide professional ambulatory nursing care, educate patients, document care accurately, and support a patient- and family-centered

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of practice as required
• 1 year of ambulatory healthcare experience (preferred)
• Basic Life Support certification (AHA or Red Cross)

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and identify expected nursing outcomes.
• Implement nursing interventions based on plan of care.
• Evaluate care and patient response to interventions and outcomes.

Job Overview

Fairview Health Services is looking for a driven Registered Nurse to join the hard working Primary Care team at our Tamarack clinic based in Woodbury, MN. This nursing position is approved for 80 hours every two weeks (1.0 FTE) working 8 hour days. The schedule includes working hours between 7:00 a.m - 6:00 pm. Monday through Thursday and 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Fridays. This position may require traveling to our Stillwater and Riverfalls clinic.

The registered nurse is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and providing professional nursing care for patients in an ambulatory care setting. While following established standards and protocols, the registered nurse delivers care that is sensitive to the unique needs of the ages served by the clinic. The RN provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established nursing standards and practices. As a member of the care team, the RN supports quality patient and family-centered care principles through performing a variety of high-level functions within a care team to support the needs of the healthcare team and patients/families. The nurse will educate patients and the public about various medical conditions, maintain complete, timely and accurate clinical documentation for each patient and continually look for opportunities to improve processes and workflow.

Required Qualifications
