Job summary

Fairview Health Services is seeking a registered nurse to join the Princeton Clinic in a full-time 1.0 FTE role. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with most shifts in Princeton and occasional coverage at Elk River as needed.

The RN will plan, organize, and provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting, educate patients, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and support family-centered care while following established standards and protocols.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of practice; additional state licenses may be required.
• Ambulatory care nursing experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Overview

Fairview Health Services is seeking a driven Registered Nurse to join our dedicated, hard-working team at the Princeton Clinic.

This position is a full-time 1.0 FTE role (80 hours every two weeks). The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Most shifts will be based in Princeton, with occasional coverage shifts at the Elk River location as needed.

The registered nurse is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and providing professional nursing care for patients in an ambulatory care setting. While following established standards and protocols, the registered nurse delivers care that is sensitive to the unique needs of the ages served by the clinic. The RN provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established nursing standards and practices. As a member of the care team, the RN supports quality patient and family-centered care principles through performing a variety of high-level functions within a care team to support the needs of the healthcare team and patients/families. The nurse will educate patients and the public about various medical conditions, maintain complete, timely and accurate clinical documentation for each patient and continually look for opportunities to improve processes and workflow.

Required Qualifications

• RN license in the state of practice, some positions may require additional state RN licenses

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year previous healthcare experience in an ambulatory setting
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)
