Manchester Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is a Five-Star, 126-bed facility seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our nursing leadership team.

The RN Supervisor will oversee nursing operations during the assigned shift, support charge nurses and CNAs, and ensure residents receive safe, timely, high-quality care. Strong clinical judgment, leadership, and staff management are essential.

Qualifications

• Current, active Connecticut RN license.
• Prior nursing supervisory or charge nurse experience required.
• Minimum one year of acute care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and independent decision-making skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Comfortable using computers and electronic medical records.
• Professional references demonstrating reliability and leadership.

Manchester Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is a Five-Star, 126-bed skilled nursing facility providing subacute rehabilitation and long-term care. We are seeking an experienced and dependable Per Diem Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our nursing leadership team.

The RN Supervisor oversees facility nursing operations during the assigned shift, supports charge nurses and CNAs, and ensures residents receive safe, timely, and high-quality care. This position requires strong clinical judgment, leadership skills, organization, and the ability to manage staff and respond confidently to changing situations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate nursing operations during the assigned shift

• Assign, direct, and prioritize the work of nursing staff

• Support charge nurses, CNAs, and other clinical personnel

• Monitor resident care and respond promptly to changes in condition

• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and emergencies

• Communicate with providers, residents, families, and nursing leadership

• Address staffing, performance, and policy-compliance concerns

• Ensure accurate documentation and completion of required reports

• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility standards

• Support quality assurance, infection prevention, and survey readiness

• Promote a professional, collaborative, and accountable workplace
