Job summary

Capitol City Rehab and Healthcare in Washington, DC is seeking a Part Time Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor for the Day Shift on an Every Other Weekend basis. The ideal candidate will supervise the resident care plan and coordinate services to maintain a comfortable, homelike environment for residents.

Must hold a valid DC RN license to be considered and be prepared to actively supervise nursing staff, conduct regular unit rounds, and document all incidents and feedback accurately.

Qualifications

• Active DC RN license is required.
• Part-time role with Day Shift and Every Other Weekend.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the implementation of the resident care plan.
• Coordinate and supervise all services on assigned units to ensure a homelike atmosphere for residents.
• Regularly rounds on nursing units.
• Provide support and direction for nurses to enhance resident care.
• Monitor and document incidents, accidents and resident/staff complaints.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• The Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor assists in directing and supervising the implementation of the resident care plan.

• The Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor assists in coordinating and supervising all services on assigned units to achieve a comfortable and homelike atmosphere for the residents.

• The Registered Nurse Supervisor regularly rounds on nursing units.

• The RN Supervisor assists in creating a team-oriented atmosphere that enhances resident care and quality of life. Provide support and direction for nurses.

• The Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor monitors and assures that incidents, accidents and resident/staff complaints are reported and documented correctly.
