Allscripts - Sunrise
Unit Notes
- 24 bed unit with a 1:3/4 ratio depending on acuity
- Patient population includes dysrhythmias, cardiopulmonary issues, sepsis, high flow O2 needs, and behavioral patients requiring IV drip medications
- We have an educator on our unit who works closely with staff
- Type of medication drips: dopamine, levophed, cardizem, heparin, precedex, nitro, amio, dobutamine, Nicardipine
- Potential to work every other weekend
- Throughput is high, as expected with all step-down units
