Job summary

Vibra Healthcare’s Rehabilitation and Critical Care Hospital of the Black Hills in Rapid City, SD, is hiring Registered Nurses for its new hospital. The RN will develop and revise care plans, provide direct patient care, and supervise nursing activities while upholding Vibra’s mission and values.

Required are an active RN license in the state, BLS certification, and ACLS certification within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Current, valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
• Current ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required within six (6) months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, evaluate and revise a plan of care for assigned patients and families.
• Provide direct nursing care and supervise delegated nursing care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act.
• Demonstrate clinical competence, manage patient care, and collaborate with the care team to improve quality of care.

Located in Rapid City, South Dakota, the Rehabilitation and Critical Care Hospital of the Black Hills is equipped with 36 inpatient medical rehabilitation beds and 18 long-term acute care beds. As a new cornerstone of specialized care in the region, our hospital uniquely combines two levels of care under one roof. This integrated approach allows us to offer comprehensive care solutions for patients who’ve suffered a range of debilitating injuries, illnesses, surgeries, and chronic medical conditions. At the Rehabilitation and Critical Care Hospital of the Black Hills, we are dedicated to delivering advanced treatments and compassionate care to help our patients recover and regain their independence.

Responsibilities

The RN develops, implements, evaluates and revises a plan of care of assigned patients and families while promoting the mission and values of Vibra Healthcare. The provision of care includes direct care along with the delegation and supervision of all nursing care in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act. Specific components of the Registered Nurse role include demonstrating clinical competence; managing patient care; improving quality of care; establishing professional relationships and utilizing professional skills; fulfilling responsibilities of the role of the hospital; and developing clinical expertise per specialty.

Required Skills

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
• Current ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required within six (6) months of hire.

• Previous acute care experience is strongly preferred.
