Job summary

AdventHealth in Denver, CO is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for a part-time position. You will assess patients across multiple domains, develop tailored care plans, administer treatments, and educate patients and families.

Collaboration with the care team is essential to deliver holistic care and uphold clinical standards. The role requires an active RN license, BLS, and at least 1 year of procedural experience.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• 1 year of procedural clinical experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• Fluent in English (reading, speaking, writing).
• Basic computer skills; navigating Windows programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental and social factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and reevaluate as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols; monitor adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff and departments to coordinate care and ensure effective communication.

Job Description:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.

Education:

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
