Job summary

AdventHealth in Denver, CO is seeking an ED Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, and deliver safe, evidence-based treatments in a fast-paced emergency department. Night shift opportunities with a strong multidisciplinary team.

Required: RN license, BLS, 1 year ED experience, Associate degree in Nursing; BSN preferred, English fluency, and basic computer skills. Eligible candidates may access relocation, sign-on bonuses, and clinical ladder

Qualifications

• Proven RN licensure and BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of ED RN experience.
• Associates degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Fluency in English with strong communication.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Windows-based systems.
• Knowledge of EKG and patient monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and regularly reassess progress.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders, monitoring for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff and units to coordinate and optimize care.

Job Description:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
