Job summary

Sunrise Manor & Convalescent Center in Amelia, Ohio, is seeking an RN for PRN dayshift to provide high-quality nursing care within a supportive team.

You will collaborate with physicians, families, and an interdisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans and ensure safe, compassionate resident care on admission through discharge.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Ohio RN license (or multi-state license).
• Nursing degree from an accredited program or college/university.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or a similar setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct nursing care in accordance with the resident's plan of care, including medication administration, assessments, wound care, and accurate documentation
• Supervising day-to-day nursing activities performed by Nursing Assistants/STNAs
• Monitoring residents' conditions, promptly recognizing changes, and notifying the physician and appropriate team members
• Promoting a positive, respectful, and resident-focused environment

About the RN Role

As an RN at Sunrise Manor, you will be responsible for providing safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to our residents from admission through discharge. You will work collaboratively with the physician, family, and interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing direct nursing care in accordance with the resident's plan of care, including medication administration, assessments, wound care, and accurate documentation
• Supervising day-to-day nursing activities performed by Nursing Assistants/STNAs
