Job summary

Sunrise Manor & Convalescent Center in Amelia, Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse on the dayshift (7a–7p) to provide safe, compassionate care to our residents in a skilled nursing and long-term care environment. As an RN, you will collaborate with the physician, family, and interdisciplinary team to assess needs, develop care plans, administer medications, and document care accurately.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Ohio RN license

About the RN Role

As an RN at Sunrise Manor, you will be responsible for providing safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to our residents from admission through discharge. You will work collaboratively with the physician, family, and interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing direct nursing care in accordance with the resident's plan of care, including medication administration, assessments, wound care, and accurate documentation

• Supervising day-to-day nursing activities performed by Nursing Assistants/STNAs

• Monitoring residents' conditions, promptly recognizing changes, and notifying the physician and appropriate team members

• Promoting a positive, respectful, and resident-focused environment
