Job summary

Adoration Health in Knoxville, TN seeks a Private Duty RN to deliver expert, patient-centered in-home care. This full-time, day-shift role focuses on 1:1 patient care in the home, with a supportive team and opportunities for growth.

The RN will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, and educate families while maintaining meticulous documentation and participating in on-call rotation as needed.

Qualifications

• RN license in the applicable state is required; unrestricted registration
• Minimum of 1 year nursing practice in a patient care setting; home health/geriatrics preferred
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and proof of car insurance
• New graduates may be considered in select markets based on program availability
• Current CPR certification is required

Responsibilities

• Assess/monitor physical, emotional, and psychological needs of patients
• Create home health care plans aligned with MD orders and patient goals
• Direct nursing care: administer medications, treatments, and interventions
• Provide pain and symptom management
• Educate and support patient families and caregivers
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by the local branch

Responsibilities

As a Private Duty Registered Nurse, You will:

• Assess/monitor physical, emotional, and psychological needs of patients
• Create home health care plans that align with MD orders and the patient's goals
• Direct nursing care: administering medications, treatments, and interventions

• Educate and support the patient's family and caregivers
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by the local branch

Qualifications

• Registered Nursing Degree (Associate or Bachelor) from an accredited college of nursing with current unrestricted registration and license in the applicable state is required
• One year nursing practice in a patient care setting required; and home health, geriatrics or other related settings preferred
• Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and proof of car insurance in accordance with Adoration policy
• New nursing graduates may be considered in select markets based on program availability
• Current CPR certification
