Job summary

Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City is seeking a Part Time, PRN RN to deliver patient care using the nursing process. You will coordinate care with other departments and ensure patient rights and confidentiality are respected during each shift.

The role requires an Oklahoma RN license, a current BLS certification, and typically at least 1 year of inpatient nursing experience. A minimum of two shifts per week is expected in this facility.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited school.
• RN license current for Oklahoma.
• BLS certification through the American Red Cross.
• 1 year inpatient nursing experience preferred.

Shift: Part Time, PRN (as needed)

Overview:

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school
• Preferred Experience:1 years of inpatient nursing experience
• License: current RN license in our state
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Red Cross

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
