Job summary

Mercy Hospital is seeking a Part-Time, PRN Registered Nurse to join our team on Mercy Hospital - Oklahoma City. The role requires nursing care using the nursing process for assigned patients, coordination with departments, and a commitment to patient rights and confidentiality.

Ideal candidates hold an accredited nursing degree, an Oklahoma RN license, BLS certification, and may have 1 year of inpatient experience. Mercy offers comprehensive benefits and tuition support for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited school.
• Preferred: 1 year of inpatient nursing experience.
• Current RN license in Oklahoma.
• Basic Life Support certification (American Red Cross).

Responsibilities

Position Details:

Location: Mercy Hospital - Oklahoma City (W Memorial Rd)

Shift: Part Time, PRN (as needed)

Schedule: Minimum of 2 shifts per week needed

Overview:

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school
• Preferred Experience:1 years of inpatient nursing experience
• License: current RN license in our state
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Red Cross

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
