Job summary

Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City is seeking a part-time, PRN registered nurse to provide patient care using the nursing process. You will maintain patient rights and confidentiality while coordinating with other departments to ensure quality care. A current RN license in Oklahoma and BLS are required, with inpatient experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited school.
• 1 year inpatient nursing experience preferred.
• Current RN license in the state.
• Basic Life Support certification (American Red Cross).

Location: Mercy Hospital - Oklahoma City (W Memorial Rd)

Shift: Part Time, PRN (as needed)

Schedule: Minimum of 2 shifts per week needed

Overview:

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school
• Preferred Experience:1 years of inpatient nursing experience
• License: current RN license in our state
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Red Cross

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
