Job summary

The Pines at Bristol Center for Health & Rehabilitation in Bristol, CT is seeking a Registered Nurse for a per-diem role. You will provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents, perform assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid state license as a Registered Nurse (RN) to practice in Connecticut.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with residents, families, and staff.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Monitor and record vital signs and other medical information.
• Provide wound care and other nursing interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care delivery.
• Oversee and guide LPNs and CNAs in delivering quality care.

What You'll Do:

As a Registered Nurse, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the health, comfort, and overall well-being of our residents. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient conditions, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting patient assessments and developing individualized care plans
• Administering medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed
• Monitoring and recording patient vital signs and medical information
• Providing wound care and other nursing interventions as needed
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care delivery
• Overseeing and guiding Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) in delivering quality care

Rate of Pay

Starting from USD $50.00/Hr.
