Job summary

National Health Care Associates in Connecticut is seeking a Weekend RN Baylor for the 7pm-7am shift to provide compassionate nursing care to residents.

You will assess, plan, administer medications, monitor health, and coordinate with physicians and staff to maintain high-quality resident well-being. The role emphasizes teamwork, patient comfort, and adherence to care plans.

Qualifications

• Valid state RN license (Connecticut) required.
• Experience in geriatric or long-term care settings preferred.
• Ability to work weekends and night shift (7pm–7am).

Responsibilities

• Assess residents and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Monitor vital signs and document in medical records.
• Provide wound care and deliver nursing interventions.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.

What You'll Do

As a Registered Nurse, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the health, comfort, and overall well-being of our residents. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient conditions, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting patient assessments and developing individualized care plans
• Administering medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed
• Monitoring and recording patient vital signs and medical information
• Providing wound care and other nursing interventions as needed
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care delivery
• Overseeing and guiding Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) in delivering quality care
